My Top 10 List of Theme Park Resturants

As in all my top ten list, these are in no order, just random. Here are ten restaurants to check out when visiting the local theme parks!

#10 Finnegans Bar and Grill (Universal Studios)

This sit down restaurant is a great place to relax before catching the Blues Brothers show just outside. Also a good restaurant to grab a bite at before a parade. The restaurant has a good mix of American and Irish foods to please almost every visitor.

#9 San Angel Inn (Epcot)

Located inside the Epcot pavilion, this restaurant overlooks the Gran Fiesta Tour boat ride and is a cool, dark retreat from the bright, hot summer days outside. The Mexican cuisine is top notch and the service is always great. I recommend this Epcot restaurant over even those found in the Canada and France!

#8 Peco Bill's Cafe (Magic Kingdom)

This surprisingly cheap American counter service gets even better when you discover the self serve condiments bar. Going beyond the typical tomatoes and lettuce, this cafe has sizzling onions, all kinds of sauces and any other condiment you could think of. Is location makes it an ideal stop between Pirates, Splash Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion.

#7 Sharks Underwater Grill (Sea World)

This restaurant is somewhat hard to find, due to its location behind a shark viewing pool but its a great view inside. The food is amazing (especially the deserts!) and the glass windows overlooking the shark tank keep everyone happy. Before you leave or while your waiting for your table check out the awesome bar here. Its glass with actual living sea creatures inside of it.

#6 Mythos (Islands of Adventure)

Continually rated the best restaurant in a theme park worldwide this one of kind resturant is must see for every visitor. Be sure to take the time to enjoy the views and details found inside and outside this restaurant. The food is always superb and the service is the best I have seen in any theme park.

#5 The Plaza Restaurant (Magic Kingdom)

This resturant is great retreat from a busy day at the park. The large windows let the sunlight keep it bright and sunny inside, but don't worry the AC is always running here! The food is light, which is good during a busy day at the park. Its fairly economical too!

#4 Crown Colony Restaurant (Busch Gardens)

The view is not as good as its claimed to be but the food is great. Being the only sit down restaurant in the whole park is a nice place to rest your feet before going back out. The salads are always fresh and give you that extra boost you need to finish your day. The location just across the skyride also helps, as you can easily access it from almost anywhere in the park. After lunch walk through the Edge of Africa exhibit as your food settles.

#3 Lombard's Seafood Grille (Universal Studios)

This sit down restaurant is nestled over the central lagoon. With windows on three sides overlooking the lagoon you can see almost anywhere in the park while dining here. The food mostly seafood but they do have a few non seafood items for those who might not want seafood. My favorite part of this restaurant is the giant fish tank in the middle of it. The fish inside are huge and the windows looking into are as big some adults! Between this and the views outside the restaurant is one my favorites to relax in!

#2 Coral Reef (Epcot)

Similar to the Shark Grille at SeaWorld this restaurant has stood through the decades as a testament of fine dining. I try to go this restaurant at least once a year. The views looking into the massive tanks of the The Living Seas always give great entertainment. The food is some of the best I have ever ate. Definitely try the deserts!

#1 Hospitality Deli (SeaWorld)

Located in the Hospitality House this deli overlooks beautiful gardens and ponds. On not so hot days it has a nice outdoor dining area, but there is also plenty of indoor dining. The food is mostly that which you would find in any deli. Located near the Nautilus Theater (Home of the Odyssea show) this is a great place to grab a snack or full meal while waiting for the Odyssea show or the Shamu show to begin. Another major plus, at least for me, is the free beer that is also served at the Hospitality House. Grab a glass of it, then a deli sandwich and have one of the cheapest meals in Orlando!

So thats my list. What do you think? Any restaurants you would or take away from the list? Thanks for reading!

I also enjoy Mango Joe's (SeaWorld) but its lack of indoor dining is also an issue for me. I also enjoy Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe', but it seems to always be packed and very loud. Not a good place to relax and escape from the hustle of the theme park.
